Fibroblast Growth Factor-8 (FGF-8) is also known as Androgen-induced Growth Factor (AIGF), a heparin binding growth factor, which stimulates the proliferation and activation of cells that express the FGF receptors. Recombinant human FGF-8 is a 22.4kD protein containing 193aa residues. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
