Fibronectin is a glycoprotein that has functions associated with cell adhesion and migration. It is found primarily in basement membranes and is a key extracellular matrix component. This antibody will help detect fibronectin in normal and uncharacterized tissues.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:200 for 1 hr at RT
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Normal kidney (extracellular labeling of connective tissue matrix)
Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
