The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING finger, a motif present in a variety of functionally distinct proteins and known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms have been reported. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:2000 Immunoprecipitation: 5-10ug/ml lysate Western Blot: 1:10,000-20,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
