Three cell membrane receptor tyrosine kinases, Flt (also designated VEGF-R1), Flk1 (also designated VEGFR2) and Flt4 (also designated VEGFR3), putatively involved in the growth of endothelial cells, are characterized by the presence of seven immuno-globulin-like sequences in their extracellular domain. On the basis of structural similarity to Flt and Flk1, it has been speculated that Flt4 might represent a third receptor for other VEGF or a VEGF-related ligand.
Cellular Localization: Cell Membrane and Cytoplasmic
Positive Control: Placenta
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
