Hepatitis C Virus Core Protein (HCV)

Applications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: Indirect ELISA method. The testing plates were coated with HCV Non-Structural Protein (NS), Capsid Protein (C) and the mixture of NS and C separately. The neat culture supernatant of hybridoma showed a strong reaction with HCV C (OD492 value > 2) and mixture of NS and C (OD492 value >1.5). Showed no reaction with HCV NS (OD492 value < 0.03).\n\nWestern Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml will allow visualization 0.1ug/lane (Recombinant CPC+EPM (core)), 0.5ug/lane (Synthetic CPC), and 0.1ug/lane (Recombinant Chimeric HCV Polyprotein). Testing is under reducing and non-reducing conditions.\n\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nMyeloma:\nSp2/0-Ag14\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
