Her 4.1, Her 4.2, ID (Her4.1, Hairy-related 4.1, Her4.1 Protein/Novel Protein Similar to Hairy-related 4.2 (Her4.2), OTTDARG00000027458, CH73-21G5.4-001)

Hairy-related 4.1 and 4.2 (her-4.1/her-4.2) are members of the hairy/Enhancer of split related gene family. The her-4 gene is a bHLH protein transcribed in the developing nevous system and in the hypoblast. Her-4 is associated with a regulatory feedback loop that controls the activity of the proneural gene neurogenin. Her-4 requires Notch signaling during neurogenesis for expression in the trigeminal ganglia. Studies of transgenic zebrafish have shown that endogenous expression of her-4 is regulated by both Notch and proneural genes. Both her-4 and Notch play a role in the peripheral outgrowth of sensory neurons.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA.
