Histone H2A

Histones are relatively small proteins that contain a high proportion of positively charged amino acids, e.g., arginine and lysine. This positive charge allows histones to bind tightly to the negatively charged DNA. There are five basic types of histone molecules called H1, H2A, H2B, H3, and H4. Histones are abundantly present in virtually all eukaryotic cells.\n \nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nELISA: 1:1000\nWestern Blot: 2ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nRecommended Positive Control: \nJurkat or PBMC\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
