Sandwich ELISA quantitative detection kit for Human IL-1 beta in cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA, citrate).\n\nInterleukin-1b ( IL-1b) is a potent stimulator of bone resorption whose gene is mapped to 2q14, and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of high bone turnover and osteoporosis. IL-1b, a prominent microglia-derived cytokine, caused oligodendrocyte death in coculture with astrocytes and microglia, but not in pure culture of oligodendrocytes alone. It also can cause nuclear export of a specific NCOR corepressor complex, resulting in derepression of a specific subset of nuclear factor-kappa-B (NFKB)-regulated genes2. Add samples and standards and incubate the plate at 37 degrees C for 90 minutes. Do not wash. \n2. Add biotinylated antibodies and incubate the plate at 37 degrees C for 60 minutes. Wash plate 3 times with 0.01M TBS. \n3. Add ABC working solution and incubate the plate at 37 degrees C for 30 minutes. Wash plate 5 times with 0.01M TBS. \n4. Add TMB color developing agent and incubate thutese plate at 37 degrees C in dark for 25-30 min. \n5. Add TMB stop solution and read.
