Interleukin 17 Receptor D (IL-17RD)

Interleukin 17 Receptor D (IL-17RD), also known as Sef (similar expression to FGFs), is a type I transmembrane IL-17R-related protein that can bind to FGF receptors 1 and 2 and antagonize ERK signaling by preventing translocation to the nucleus. The full-length 739aa hSef-a isoform is a 120kD cell surface glycoprotein expressed in most tissues (except thyroid). Three other isoforms have alternate N-termini shortened by 24, 32 or 144aa. Isoform hSef-b is an 80kD non-glycosylated intracellular Golgi membrane protein within thyroid, testes, pituitary and fetal brain. Human IL-17RD shows 90% aa identity with mouse IL-17RD in the extracellular/lumenal region. \n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Direct ELISA. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nWestern Blot: 1-2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents detects human IL-17RD. The detection limit is ~25ng/lane under non-reducing and ~5ng/lane under reducing conditions.\nDirect ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents detects human IL-17RD. The detection limit is ~1ng/well.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nHybridoma: \nProduced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
