The ITGA6 protein product is the integrin alpha chain alpha 6. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. A given chain may combine with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. For example, alpha 6 may combine with beta 4 in the integrin referred to as TSP180, or with beta 1 in the integrin VLA-6. Integrins are known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signalling. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:1000\nWestern Blot: 1:100-16000\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50~100\nFlow Cytometry: 1:10~50\nImmunofluorescence: 1:10~50\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
