Jagged2 (JAG2, HJ2)

The Notch signaling pathway is an intercellular signaling mechanism that is essential for proper embryonic development. Members of the Notch gene family encode transmembrane receptors that are critical for various cell fate decisions. Jagged-2 (JAG2) is a cell surface protein which is one of several ligands that activate Notch and related receptors. Jag2 plays an important role for male germ cells to differentiate or at least to survive in the rat testis and fails to express in the testis of spermatogenic maturation arrest patients.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:500\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:50\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability: \nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
