Cat no: K0199-16H

Keratin 13 (Keratin Type I Cytoskeletal 13, Keratin-13, K13, KRT13, Cytokeratin-13, CK13, CK-13)

Cytokeratin 13 is a major component of squamous, non-keratinized epithelium, transitional epithelium, pseudostratified epithelium, and myoepithelium. It is found on tongue, epiglottis, tracheal and esophageal epithelium, and various carcinomas. This antibody will help detect cytokeratin 13 in these tissue types.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1:250-1:500\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:200 for 1 hr. at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nTonsil (for Immunohistochemistry, cytoplasmic staining of mucosa)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
