Lactoperoxidase (LPO, Salivary Peroxidase, SAPX, SPO)

LPO from milk is identical to the lacrimal and salivary forms of the enzyme. LPO catalyzes the hydrogen peroxide oxidation of iodine and is used in labeling proteins with radioiodine. The antibody may facilitate studies involving LPO, including membrane analysis.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution: \nELISA: 1:18,000-1:75,000\nWestern Blot: 1:2000- 1:10,000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies: \nI1904-63 IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab DkxSh\nI1904-59C IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab RbxSh \nI1904-59H IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab RbxSh\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
