LHX2 (LIM/Homeobox Protein Lhx2, LIM Homeobox Protein 2, Homeobox Protein LH-2, LH2)

LHX2 belongs to a large protein family, members of which carry the LIM domain, a unique cysteine-rich zinc-binding domain. This protein may function as a transcriptional regulator. This protein can recapitulate or rescue phenotypes in Drosophila caused by a related protein, suggesting conservation of function during evolution.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:4000\nWestern Blot: 1-3ug/ml, observed in lysates of cell line Daudi on ~45kD bands\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
