LRRK2 (Leucine-rich Repeat Kinase 2, RIP7, PARK8, Dardarin)

This gene is a member of the leucine-rich repeat kinase family and encodes a protein with an ankryin repeat region, a leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domain, a kinase domain, a DFG-like motif, a RAS domain, a GTPase domain, a MLK-like domain, and a WD40 domain. The protein is present largely in the cytoplasm but also associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Parkinson disease-8.\n\nApplicatons:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. \n\nRecommended Dilution: \nOptimal dilution determined by the researcher. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile buffer. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
