Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen (Cluster 1, SCLC)

Applications:\nSuitable for use in Immunoblot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue).\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10; Incubation Time 1 hr at room temperature.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degrees C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Reactive with lung cancer-associated antigen (cluster 1). Reacts with membrane-associated proteins of 120kD, 125kD and 145kD in normal and malignant tissue, including a subgroup of SCLC. Lack of reactivity with other markers within this SCLC subgroup correlates with a bad response to chemotherapy. Recommended for Brain/adrenal gland. Species Crossreactivity: Human.
