Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen (Cluster 1, SCLC)

Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections).\n\nRecommended Dilution: \nImmunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10; Incubation Time 1 hr at room temperature.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degrees C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Reactive with lung cancer-associated antigen (cluster 1). Reacts with a membrane-associated protein present in normal and malignant neuroendocrine tissues including SCLC. A positive reaction of MOC-52 and MOC-1 is found in most SCLC cases. The epitope is destroyed during formalin fixation. Recommended for Brain/adrenal gland. Species Crossreactivity: Human.
