Mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases are serine/threonine-specific protein kinases that respond to extracellular stimuli (mitogens, osmotic stress, heat shock and proinflammatory cytokines) and modulates cellular activities, such as proliferation, gene expression, differentiation, mitosis, cell survival, and apoptosis\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nWestern Blot: 0.1-1ug/ml detects MKP1 in RIPA lysates from 3T3/A31 cells. 3T3/A31 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with M4110-01 (0.3ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system. MKP1 (~42kD).\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nIncluded Positive Antigen Control: \nF4209: Fibroblast Cell, 3T3/A31 lysate. Add 2.5ul 2-mercaptoethanol/100ul of lysate. Boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation.
