Protected L-Tyrosine , an amino acid, used by cells to synthesize proteins. L-Tyrosine is biologically converted from L-phenylalanine and is in turn is converted to L-DOPA and further converted into the neurotransmitters: dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine.
