Nestin

Mouse Nestin is an approximately 207kD protein (1864aa) expressed in neural crest cells, CNS neural stems cells, as well as a few non-neural cell types in the embryo, including cells within the pancreatic islets of Langerhans and the limb bud. Nestin is an intermediate filament-associated protein, and contributes to the cytoskeleton.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. \n\nRecommended Dilutions: \nImmunohistochemistry: 1:2000-1:5000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed tissues.\nImmunocytochemistry: 1:2000-1:5000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed cells.\nWestern Blot: 1:2000-1:5000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. \n\nRecommended Secondary Antibodies:\nI1906 IgY, Chicken Pab Rb x Ch \nI1906-10 IgY, Chicken (HRP) Rb x Ch \nI1906-12 IgY, Chicken (FITC) Rb x Ch \nI1906-14 IgY, Chicken (AP) Rb x Ch\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
