NETO1 (Neuropilin (NRP) and Tolloid (TLL)-like 1, BCTL1, Brain-specific transmembrane protein containing 2 CUB and 1 LDL-receptor Class A domains protein 1, BTCL1, Neuropilin and Tolloid-like Protein 1)

Neuropilin and tolloid-like protein 1 (NETO1), also known as Brain-specific transmembrane protein containing 2 CUB and 1 LDL-receptor class A domains protein 1 (BTCL1), is a type I transmembrane protein that is expressed in the brain and retina. The 511aa residue mature human NETO1 contains an extracellular domain with two CUB domains (aa41-155 and 172-287), and one class A LDL-receptor segment (aa292-326). Three human NETO1 splice isoforms exist, including a secreted soluble variant that shows an Asp-to-Glu transition at residue 157 followed by a premature truncation. over aa23-345, human NETO1 shares 97% and 98% aa identity with mouse and canine NETO1, respectively.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nDirect ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml. The detection limit is ~1ng/well.\nImmunohistochemistry: 25ug/ml detects NETO1 in paraffin-embedded normal human cortex sections.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nHybridoma: \nMouse myeloma cells with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, CHO cell-derived, recombinant human NETO 1 (aa23-345).\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
