KCNA3 mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a potassium-selective channel through which potassium ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient.

Species: p-Kv1.3 (Y187) pAb detects endogenous levels of human Kv1.3 protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr187. This antibody also detects endogenous levels of mouse and rat Kv3.1 protein when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues. This antibody also recognizes human HCG1642166 (isoform CRA_b) when phosphorylated at Tyr135.

Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
