Parathyroid Hormone (PTH, PTH1, Parathormone, Parathyrin)

Parathyroid hormone is secreted by chief cells of the parathyroid glands and regulate serum calcium and phosphate levels by direct and indirect means. This hor- mone is the most important regulator of blood calcium levels. This antibody will detect parathyroid hormone and help distinguish between parathyroid and thyroid tissue.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:150-1:300 for1 hr at RT\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control: \nParathyroid (cytoplasmic and membrane staining pattern)\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
