PAX8, NT (Paired Box Protein Pax-8, Paired Domain Gene 8, Pax-8)

PAX8 is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. Members of this family contain a paired box domain, an octapeptide, and a paired-type homeodomain. This nuclear protein is involved in thyroid follicular cell development and expression of thyroid-specific genes.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:32,000\nWestern Blot: 1-3ug/ml, observed in human liver lysates on ~40kD bands\nImmunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1-2ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
