Source: Recombinant corresponding to 536-end from human PEK, 6-His-Tag expressed in baculovirus in Sf21 insect cells. Molecular Weight: ~71kD Specific Activity: ~299U/mg, where one unit of PEK activity is defined as 1nmol phosphate incorporated into 300uM RSRSRSRSRSRSRSR per minute at 30 degrees C with a final ATP concentration of 100uM. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
