PINK1 (PINK1, Serine/threonine-protein kinase PINK1, mitochondrial, BRPK, PTEN-induced putative kinase protein 1) (APC)

This gene encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase that localizes to mitochondria. It is thought to protect cells from stress-induced mitochondrial dysfunction. Mutations in this gene cause one form of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson disease.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:1,000\nWestern Blot: 1:100~500\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50~100\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C with glycerol. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Do not freeze APC conjugates. Light sensitive.
