Plays a role in intracellular protein trafficking and degradation. May regulate CFTR chloride currents and acid-induced ACCN3 currents by modulating cell surface expression of both channels. May also regulate the intracellular trafficking of the ADR1B receptor. May play a role in autophagy. Overexpression results in CFTR intracellular retention and degradation in the lysosomes. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:128,000 Western Blot: 0.05-0.2ug/ml, observed in human brain, frontal cortex lysates on ~55kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
