Cat no: P9005-93

Profilin 4, Recombinant, Human (Profilin-4, PFN4, Profilin IV)

Profilin-4, also known as PFN4, is a small actin-binding protein involved in the dynamic turnover and restructuring of the actin cytoskeleton. It is found in all eukaryotic organisms in most cells. Also, this is important for spatially and temporally controlled growth of actin microfilaments, which is an essential process in cellular locomotion and cell shape changes. Recombinant human Profilin-4, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.\n\nSource: \nRecombinant corresponding to aa1-129 of human Profilin-4 6x His tagged expressed in E. coli.\n\nAA Sequence:\nMGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MSHLQSLLLD TLLGTKHVDS AALIKIQERS LCVASPGFNV TPSDVRTLVN GFAKNPLQAR REGLYFKGKD YRCVRADEYS LYAKNENTGV VVVKTHLYLL VATYTEGMYP SICVEATESL GDYLRKKGS\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
