SNF2L1, a ~116kD protein, is a member of SWI/SNF family of proteins. Members of this family are characterized by the presence of conserved SNF2 domain, a helicase-like region. They also have an ATPase activity and are thought to have a significant role in regulation of Chromatin remodeling. Although SNF2L1 has a ubiquitous expression pattern, its active form is expressed in neurons suggesting a possible role in promoting neutrite outgrowth and regulating neuronal physiology.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:100-1:1000\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nBrain lysate\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
