SMNDC1, NT (SMNDC1, SMNR, SPF30, Survival of motor neuron-related-splicing factor 30, 30kD splicing factor SMNrp, SMN-related protein, Survival motor neuron domain-containing protein 1)

This protein is a paralog of SMN1 gene, which encodes the survival motor neuron protein, mutations in which are cause of autosomal recessive proximal spinal muscular atrophy. The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear protein that has been identified as a constituent of the spliceosome complex. This protein is differentially expressed, with abundant levels in skeletal muscle, and may share similar cellular function as the SMN1 gene.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, ELISA\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:1,000\nWestern Blot: 1:100-500\nFlow Cytometry: 1:10-50\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
