SNAI (SNAI1, SNAH, Zinc finger protein SNAI1, Protein snail homolog 1)

The Drosophila embryonic protein snail is a zinc finger transcriptional repressor which downregulates the expression of ectodermal genes within the mesoderm. The nuclear protein encoded by this gene is structurally similar to the Drosophila snail protein, and is also thought to be critical for mesoderm formation in the developing embryo. At least two variants of a similar processed pseudogene have been found on chromosome 2.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: 1:1000\nWestern Blot: 1:100~200\nImmunohistochemistry: 1:50~100\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
