Cat no: R1031-17

sRAGE (Receptor for Advanced Glycosylated End Products)

The receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) is a multiligand member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell surface molecules. It mediates interactions of advanced glycation end products (AGE), the products of nonenzymatic glycoxidation of proteins/lipids that accumulate in the plasma and tissues of patients with diabetes. \n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nAmino Acid Sequence:\nMRGSHHHHHH GMASAQNITA RIGEPLVLKC KGAPKKPPQR LEWKLNTGRT EAWKVLSPQG GGPWDSVARV LPNGSLFLPA VGIQDEGIFR CQAMNRNGKE TKSNYRVRVY QIPGKPEIVD SASELTAGVP NKVGTCVSEG SYPAGTLSWH LDGKPLVPNE KGVSVKEQTR RHPETGLFTL QSELMVTPAR GGDPRPTFSC SFSPGLPRHR ALRTAPIQPR VWEPVPLEEV QLVVEPEGGA VAPGGTVTLT CEVPAQPSPQ IHWMKDGVPL PLPPSPVLIL PEIGPQDQGT YSCVATHSSH GPQESRAVSI SIIEPGEEGP TAGEGFDKVR EAEDSPQHM\n\nStorage and Stabillty:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
