Transforming Growth Factor beta Receptor III (TGF beta Receptor III, TGF beta RIII, TGFR-3, Betaglycan)

TGF-b RIII is a transmembrane proteoglycan that binds TGF-b with high affinity. TGF-b RIII lacks a cytoplasmic signaling domain and functions as an accessory receptor that enhances efficient TGF-b2 binding and signaling. A soluble form of the receptor can be released by proteolytic cleavage of the membrane-bound form.\n\nHybridoma:\nProduced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Transforming Growth Factor beta receptor type III (rhTGF-b RIII) extracellular domain.\n\nApplications:\nWestern Blot, Direct ELISA \n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human TGF-b RIII. The detection limit for rhTGF-b RIII is approximately 50 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions. \nDirect ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human TGF-b RIII. The detection limit for rhTGF-b RIII is approximately 15 ng/well.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
