v-Myb Myeloblastosis Viral Oncogene Homolog (avian)-Like 2 (MYBL2, BMYB, MGC15600)

The protein encoded by this gene, a member of the MYB family of transcription factor genes, is a nuclear protein involved in cell cycle progression. The encoded protein is phosphorylated by cyclin A/cyclin-dependent kinase 2 during the S-phase of the cell cycle and possesses both activator and repressor activities. It has been shown to activate the cell division cycle 2, cyclin D1, and insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 5 genes. Transcript variants may exist for this gene, but their full-length natures have not been determined.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nWestern Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml\nImmunocytochemistry: 2-100ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
