XC Chemokine Receptor 1 (XCR1, Chemokine XC Receptor 1, CCXCR1, G-protein Coupled Receptor 5, GPR5, Lymphotactin Receptor)

CCXCR1 is a Chemokine Receptor expressed in lymphotactin-responsive leukocyte cells. The viral macrophage inflammatory protein-II, vMIP-II (but not vMIP-I), has been found to be an antagonist of lymphotactin activity at CCXCR1. The CCXCR1 gene is located near the genes for C-C chemokine receptor 9 and SIV/HIV receptor Bonzo on chromosome 3. CCXCR1 is associated with inflammatory and immunological responses by regulating the trafficking of T and B lymphocytes and neutrophils. The up-regulation of CCXCR1 in peripheral T cells is correlated with the inflammatory process observed in Crohns disease. CCXCR1 receptor transcripts have been identified in placenta, spleen, and thymus.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 2.5-20ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nHuman Spleen\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
