Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoelectrophoresis and Double Radial Immunodiffusion. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000-1:10000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Enzyme/IgG protein molar ratio (E/P): ~1.2 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.

Additional info: Recognizes rat Albumin serum. In immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony) against appropriate concentrations of the immunogen, a single characteristic precipitin line is obtained which shows a reaction of identity with the precipitin lines obtained against rat serum and the purified albumin. Species Crossreactivity: Canine, guinea pig, equine, human, mouse, monkey, porcine. Does not crossreact with bovine, chicken, goat or sheep.
