CD273 is a 42kD member of the B7 family, otherwise known as B7-dendritic cell (B7-DC), or programmed death ligand-2 (PD-L2). The expression of CD273 is restricted to a subpopulation of dendritic cells (DCs), and DCs and macrophages that have been stimulated with interferon gamma, GM-CSF or IL-4. CD273 has been identified as a ligand for PD-1(CD279), along with another B7 family member B7-H1 (CD279). Studies suggest that both CD273 and B7-H1 co-stimulate or inhibit T cell proliferation and cytokine production.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:5; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
