CD49e (VLA-5, Integrin alpha 5 Chain)

VLA-5 plays an important role in cell adhesion and migration and is expressed by mast cells, thymocytes, T-cells and monocytes. This clone has been reported to block CD49e mediated function (1). \n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (Frozen).Other applications not tested. \n\nRecommended Dilution: \nFlow Cytometry: 1:10-1:25, Use 10ul to label 1e06 cells in 100ul.\nOptimal dilution determined by the researcher\n\nRecommended Secondary Reagents:\nFlow Cytometry:\nF(ab')2 Goat anti rat IgG:FITC (mouse absorbed)\nF(ab')2 Goat anti rat IgG:RPE (mouse adsorbed)\n\nImmunohistochemistry:\nRecommended Negative Controls:\nRat IgG2a\nRecommended Secondary Reagents: \nGoat anti rat IgG:HRP (mouse adsorbed)-STAR72\n\nHybridoma: \nSpleen cells from immunized Lewis rats were fused with cells of the Murine P3X63Ag8.653.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
