The CD74 molecule plays a critical role in the presentation of peptides, by the MHC class II antigens, to CD4 positive lymphocytes.\nCD4 is expressed by B cells, monocytes, dendritic cells and other antigen presenting cells, and by various types of carcinoma. Expression of CD74 is primarily intracellular with moderate expression at the cell surface of B cells and monocytes.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen) and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. \n\nRecommended Dilution: \nFlow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200 Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.\nOptimal dilution determined by the researcher\n\nHybridoma: \nMouse cells from immunized mouse were fused with cells of the mouse NS-1 myeloma cell line.\n\nRecommended Negative Controls: \nF(ab')2 rabbit anti mouse IgG:FITC\nF(ab')2 rabbit anti mouse IgG:RPE\n\nImmunohistochemistry:\nRecommended Negative Controls:\nMouse IgG1 Negative Control \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
