CD79b is a cell surface antigen expressed by B lymphocytes. The CD79b molecule (also known as Ig beta and B29) associates with CD79a to form a heterodimer that is covalently linked to surface immunoglobulin, forming the B-cell receptor (BCR) complex.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100; 10ul lavels 10e6 cells in 100ul
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
