CD98

Human CD98 is expressed on monocytes and activated cells. All cultured human cell lines tested express CD98. CD98 is thought to be an activation antigen.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Functional Assay. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nFlow Cytometry: 1ug/ml. 80ul labels 5x10e5 Jurkat cells.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nFlow Cytometry Protocol:\n1. Five x 10e5 cultured Jurkat human tumor cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80ul of C2443-81A at 1ug/ml.\n2. Cells were washed twice and incubated with a goat x mouse IgG (FITC) (I1904-06F).\n3. Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. \n4. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.82 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1 negative control (I1904-78R) at a similar concentration. \n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
