Insulin-like Growth Factor I, Mouse, BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit (IGF-I, IGFI, Igf1, IGF-1, IGF1, Insulin-like Growth Factor-1)

The mouse Insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) BioAssay(TM) Kit is a sandwich ELISA. The capture antibody is a monoclonal mouse IGF-I antibody pre-coated onto the 96-well strip plates provided in the kit. Mouse test samples and standards of known IGF-I concentration are added to these wells and allowed to complex with the bound IGF-I antibody. A biotinylated mouse IGF-I polyclonal antibody is then added. This detection antibody binds to the antigen thus completing the sandwich. After washing, an enzyme Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase complex (ABC) is added which binds to the second antibody. The peroxidase substrate TMB is added to induce a colored reaction product. The intensity of this colored product is directly proportional to the concentration of IGF-I present in the samples. \n\nIntended Use:\nThe purpose of this kit is the in-vitro quantitative determination of mouse IGF-I in samples such as sera, plasma, tissue lysates and cell culture supernates.
