Protein is provided as a heterotetrameric complex, consisting of two PAPP-A subunits and two pro-MBP subunits. When tested on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the PAPP-A subunits are ~187kD each and the proMBP subunits are 50-90kD each (depending on variable glycosylation of the subunits).
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescent assays with anti-PAPP-A antibodies. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
