Prostate Specific Antigen is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 33kD and an isoelectric point between pH 6.8 and 7.5. It is located in epithelial cells located in the ducts and acini of the prostate. It is also found in normal, benign hypertrophic and malignant prostatic tissues, but not in other human tissues.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
