Significant expression of Dectin-2 has been reported on macrophages in the red pulp and marginal zones of the spleen, kupffer cells in the liver and alveolar macrophages in the lung. Peripheral blood monocytes express low levels of dectin-2 but transient up-regulation of expression has been demonstrated on monocytes at sites of inflammation.\nThe function of Dectin-2 has not been fully determined but studies suggest a possible role in immune-surveillance.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nFlow Cytometry: Neat-1:5; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C. Reconstitute by adding sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot and store at 4 degrees C. DO NOT FREEZE! Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
