Diacylglycerol kinase iota (DGK-i) is an ~110kD kinase that phosphorylates the lipid diacylglycerol. DGK-i also inhibits RasGRP3 and limits Rap1 activation. It contains two zinc finger regions (aa178-232-aa251-310, a catalytic domain aa372-507, and two ankyrin repeats aa958-990-aa997-1026. Over aa925-1065, human DGK-i shares 94-96aa sequence identity with mouse and rat DGK-i, respectively.
