This gene may play a role in the development and normal function of the ovaries. Mutations of this gene have been linked to premature ovarian failure. Alternative splicing results in two protein isoforms. Furthermore, each splice variant undergoes additional splicing in the 3' UTR. Overall 4 splice variants have been described. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:10,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
