FAIM1, otherwise known as Fas apoptotic inhibitory molecule 1, is a highly conserved inducible effector protein, which acts as a negative regulator of Fas-mediated apoptosis in B cells.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml. Approx 25kD band observed in Human Lymph Node lysates (calculated MW of 24.0kD according to NP_001028202.1). Western blot analysis of FAIM1 at 0.5microg/ml in Human Lymph Node lysate (35ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Human Lymph Node lysate
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
