FasL is a cytokine that binds to TNFRSF6/Fas, a receptor that transduces the apoptotic signal into cells. Is involved in cytotoxic T cell mediated apoptosis and in T cell development.
Biological Activity:
Induces apoptosis of human Jurkat T cells at a concentration of <1ng/ml in the presence of 0.1 to 1ug/ml TNF Ligands Enhancer. In the absence of TNF Ligands Enhancer, FasL is working at 50-100 fold higher concentrations.
Sequence:
The extracellular domain of human FasL (aa 103-281) is fused at the N-terminus to a FLAG(R)-tag.
Storage and Stability:
Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C
Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C
Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20 degrees C.
