Fibrinogen (Coagulation Factor I) (HRP)

Fibrinogen is a 340kD soluble plasma glycoprotein which is synthesized by the liver. Fibrinogen is an inactive zymogen which is activated by thrombin in the coagulation cascade to form fibrin, the most abundant component of blood clots .Fibrinogen activation is also involved in cellular and matrix interactions, the inflammatory response, cardiovascular disease and neoplasia.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nImmunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:5-1:50\nELISA: 1:100-1:250\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
